Chinese Government Officially Orders Early Rain Church and School to Cease All Operations: See the Orders

TRANSLATION:

“Public Notice Concerning the Banning of an Illegal Social Organization by the Chengdu Qingyang District Bureau of Civil Affairs:

Post #1 (2018) of the Chengdu Qingyang District Bureau of Civil Affairs

After investigating, we hereby declare that ‘Chengdu Early Rain Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church ([Chengdu] Early Rain Reformed Church)’ has not registered, and has held activities without authorization under the name of a social association, violating the stipulations of Article 3 of the ‘Regulations for Registration and Management of Social Associations.’ As an illegal social organization, it has been banned in accordance with the stipulations of Article 32 of the ‘Regulations for Registration and Management of Social Associations.’

TRANSLATION:

“Public Notice by the Chengdu Qingyang District Bureau of Education Concerning the Ordering of Chengdu Early Rain Covenant Reformed Academy to Cease School Operations:

We hereby declare that Chengdu Early Rain Covenant Reformed Academy, located at the Jiangxin Building on North Taisheng Road in the Qingyang District of Chengdu, has not obtained a permit to open and run a school. This conduct is in violation of the relevant regulations of the ‘Non-state Education Promotion Law of the People’s Republic of China.’ In accordance with the law, we order this school to cease operations.
